The primary role of the position is to coordinate the delivery of administrative services, records management and customer service in a timely and effective manner, including support and assistance to the Executive Manager Corporate Services.
The PositionThe Administration & Customer Service Coordinator is responsible to coordinate the ongoing development and maintenance of Council’s records management system, review and update all Councils insurance schedules, play a lead role in ensuring good customer service is delivered throughout Council and assist the Executive Manager in the development, implementation and ongoing communication of strategic plans and policies.
To be considered for this position, you must have well developed verbal & written skills, excellent customer service skills, proficient computer skills, good team work, supervision experience, sound organisational and time management skills.
SalaryThe position attracts and annual salary package of $61,953 to $72,908 which includes location allowance, annual return airfares to Perth, five weeks annual leave, air conditioning subsidy and an attractive superannuation scheme.
The cash component of the position ranges from $53,920 to $58,990pa.

Airport Security OfficerThe Shire of Derby/West Kimberley is seeking a security and baggage screening officer at the Curtin Airport for the direct flights between Curtin and Perth.
The PositionThe Airport Security Officer is to effectively undertake security screening and various other security or airport related duties as required by the Ports Supervisor.
We require the ability to give verbal requests and directions with a clear understanding, good customer service skills, basic knowledge of information technology, previous experience in security is encourages but not essential as training and qualifications will be supplied. Also required is the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance, Airport security clearances and must be eighteen (18) years or over.
SalaryThis position is permanent part time and is required to work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings in line with the flight times and operation of the airport, but this may be subject to change due to operational requirements.
The position attracts an hourly rate of $22.50 per hour for qualified Certificate II Security holders and $18.50 for unqualified staff.
