Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shane Burge
Shane commenced duties in the position of Chief Executive Officer in February 2009. He was previously employed by the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley as the Accountant between 2001 and 2004 before taking the position as Manager of Finance with the Shire of Esperance. Shane returned to the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley to the position of Executive Manager, Corporate Services in February 2006.
Shane has formal qualifications including a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and is also a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA). Shane has a strong financial management background in local government.
