Chief Executive Officer (CEO) John Pearson
John commenced duties in the position of Chief Executive Officer in 2005. He and his family have been in the Kimberley since 1998, with nearly 4 years spent in Halls Creek. He moved to Derby in 2002 to take the position as Executive Manager, Corporate Services.
John has formal qualifications including a Master of Accounting from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Murdoch University. He possesses a strong corporate governance background and financial management skills that assist in delivering strategic outcomes for the Council.
