Traders/Stallholders Permits
Applying for a Traders or Stallholders Permit in the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley
You will need to apply for a TRADERS permit if you are: - Trading from a vehicle selling food i.e. ice-cream van, food van.
- Trading from other vehicles i.e. Showbag van.
- Trading from a fixed stall i.e. a kiosk.
- Selling door to door.
- Persons travelling throughout communities selling their wares.
You will need to apply for a STALLHOLDERS permit if you are: - Trading from a movable/temporarily fixed stall, structure or table etc., i.e. Markets, Fetes etc.
FEE’S
Are to be paid at the time of submitting the application. Charitable, recreational or sporting organisations are exempt if they can provide a statement as per clause 6.7(1) of the local law stating that any member does not receive any pecuniary profit from the organisation except where the member is an employee or the profit is an honorarium.
- Traders Permit : $1500 per financial year / $250 per month / $50 per day.
- Stallholders Permit : $240 per financial year / $50 per month / $20 per day
Should your application be declined you will be notified in writing and the fee refunded.
