Partial Road Closure – Skuthorpe Road, Fitzroy Crossing.12th October 2009 Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley, pursuant to section 58 (3) of the Land Administration Act 1997 proposes to close a portion of Skuthorpe Rd, Fitzroy Crossing. The purpose of the closure is to regularise the situation whereby some minor improvements from Lot 35 (Crossing Inn Hotel) have encroached into the road reserve. The portion of the road to be closed will be amalgamated into Lot 35 but will not affect vehicular access along Skuthorpe Rd. Details of the proposal are available for inspection at the Fitzroy Crossing Visitor Centre and on the Shire website HERE. Submissions on the proposal should be received by the undersigned at PO Box 94 Derby WA 6728 by 4.00pm Friday 20th November 2009.

Absent votes can be cast at any local government office in WA during office hours from now until Tuesday, 13 October 2009.
Postal vote application forms are available now from the address below. You should apply as soon as possible so that the voting papers can be processed and your vote returned to us before 6:00pm on election day.
