Public Notice - Proposed Policy - C10 Code of Conduct Behaviour Complaints Management Policy

The Shire of Derby/West Kimberley has drafted, in accordance with Clause 15(2) of the Local Government (Model Code of Conduct) Regulation 2021, and the Code of Conduct for Council Members, the Policy for dealing with complaints about alleged breaches of the behaviour requirements included in Division 3 of the Shire of Derby / West Kimberley Code of Conduct for Council Members, Committee Members and Candidates.

The draft C10 Code of Conduct Behaviour Complaints Management Policy was adopted in principal during the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 28 July 2022, subject to being suitably advertised to the Public for consideration, allowing submissions to the Shire of Derby / West Kimberley be made if necessary.

Should no submission be received by the Shire of Derby / West Kimberley, the C10 Code of Conduct Behaviour Complaints Management Policy will come into effect from 19 August 2022.

A copy of the C10 Code of Conduct Behaviour Complaints Management Policy can be inspected at the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley Administration Building between 8:00am and 4:00pm weekdays.
