The Shire of Derby/West Kimberley invites submissions in regard to its proposal to take out a $5m Short Term Loan facility with the Western Australian Treasury Corporation.
The facility will be in place until 1st July 2026 and be reviewed as part of each future Shire Budget.
The purpose of the facility is to address the Shire’s periodic short-term negative cash-flow events, including for example, start/end of financial year periods, situations brought about by ex-Tropical Cyclone Ellie related projects, disaster recovery/weather event road flood damage projects, and the Fitzroy Crossing Air-strip Refurbishment Project.
