The Shire of Derby/West Kimberley is considering a lease proposal involving two locations situated on the western end of the Derby Jetty (designated as “Areas 2 and 3”) The Shire is providing notice of the proposal and inviting submissions (as per Section 3.58 of the Local Government Act 1995). Submissions can be made prior to 4.30pm on Thursday 29th February 2024.

On Tuesday the 13th Feb, the water service will be lowered on Alfonsas Street, causing the street to be closed for most of the day and reopening on Wednesday the 14th Feb for normal traffic. It is hoped that the street reconstruction will commence in April, with work comprised of lowering of the surface of the road to get better drainage outcomes, along with kerbing and crossover installations. The Shire of Derby/West Kimberley requires a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake the proposed Reshaping and Gravel Resheeting of the Calywnyardah Nookanbah and Millijidee Roads.

Due to the delayed wet season, the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley have extended the restricted burning time. Burning permits are still required up to and including the 28th January 2024.

The Shire of Derby/West Kimberley is considering a lease proposal involving two locations situated on the western end of the Derby Jetty (designated as "Areas 2 and 3"). The Shire is providing notice of the proposal and inviting submissions (as per Section 3.58 of the Local Government Act 1995).

The Shire of Derby/West Kimberley requires a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake the proposed supply and construction of Sports Lights at the Fitzroy Crossing Town Oval located at Lot 199, Fallon Road, Fitzroy Crossing. These works will be awarded on a Lump Sum basis with payments made based on actual progress during the project. The Shire reserves the right to award any or all of the works.
