Community Grants Program

The Shire of Derby West/ Kimberley is dedicated to providing support to community groups and not-for-profit organisations. Through the Community Grants Program, the Shire seeks to provide support to community organisations to deliver their activities and projects. The Community Grants program has been designed to provide responsive and easily accessible financial and in-kind assistance.

Community Grants Program

Has your community group got a great idea for a project or a community event which could use a funding boost? The Community Grants Program offers cash and in-kind grants of up to $5,000 (ex GST) to boost your project. Community Representative Grant

Know a very talented person who has been selected to participate in a regional, state, national or international event? The Shire provides financial assistance to help meet the cost of participating in these activities. Events Sponsorship

Every year the Shire allocated funding to support major events in Derby and Fitzroy Crossing. If you are interested in having your event considered please email sdwk@sdwk.wa.gov.au or phone the Community Development Team on 9191 0999.
