Purpose:

Seeking Council’s endorsement for the Shire to pursue a role as an active participant in the development and management of new housing supply in the Shire to meet government (including Local Government), community and social housing requirements, including through submission through the State Government’s Housing Diversity Pipeline (HDP) Round 2 (HDP Round 2) Expression of Interest (EOI) process to register the Shire’s interest in acquisition of several government-owned, vacant or underutilised lots in the Derby Townsite.
