- Swearing in and declaration by Council Members
- Swearing in of Shire President
- Election and swearing in of Shire Deputy President
- Ballot for seating

Section 58 of the Local Government Amendment Act 2023 (the Amendment Act) inserts a new section 5.23A into the Local Government Act 1995 (the Act) covering requirements for electronic broadcasting (livestreaming) and video and audio recording of council meetings for Local Governments.
