Shire of Derby/West Kimberley is updating how verge maintenance is managed across our towns.

Shire of Derby / West Kimberley is currently reviewing our local laws and is inviting community members to share their thoughts, experiences and ideas.

Shire of Derby / West Kimberley would like to inform the public that the Derby Memorial Swimming Pool will be modifying hours of operation for the remainder of wet season, commencing Friday, 2 January 2026.

Shire of Derby/West Kimberley will be closing several facilities early on Friday, 12 December 2025, from 12pm.

The Shire would like to advise the community that the Fitzroy Crossing Visitor Centre will be closed from 26 November 2025.

In accordance with section 5.55 of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is hereby given that the 2024/2025 Annual Report was accepted by Council on 27 November 2025.

The Shire would like to advise the community of our end of year closure hours during the holiday break.
