Great News Derby!

The new lighting at the Derby Recreation Centre is almost ready to shine, with the lights officially switched on Tuesday 24 March 2026! This is a huge step forward for our community - the Rec Centre is already looking brighter, safer, and ready for more evening sport, activities and events. Although the lights are operational, we're not quite at the finish line yet, with a few final touches still to come. We appreciate everyone's patience as we wrap up the last stage of works. 

With a special thanks to Lotterywest for making this upgrade possible - the full completion announcement is just around the corner, and we can't wait to celebrate this fantastic upgrade with you all.
