UPDATE - 6 June 2026:
Community members are reminder not to disturb or remove any equipment, barriers, or apparatus associated with works at the site to ensure everyone's safety.
8 May 2026:
There currently is an aggressive hive of bees located at the Prison Boab Tree. The Shire advises community members to delay or postpone your visit to the site until further notice and avoid the area where possible.
The Shire is working to try and relocate the Bees and will update the community as soon as possible and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
