Public Notice - Intent to Review Local Laws

Notice is hereby given under section 3.16 of the Local Government Act 1995 that the Shire of Derby / West Kimberley proposes to review the following local laws:

  • Bushfire Brigades
  • Cemeteries
  • Dogs
  • Extractive Industries
  • Local Government Property
  • Health
  • Standing Orders
  • Activities on Thoroughfares and Trading in Thoroughfares and Public Places
  • Parking Local Law 2022

Copies of this/these local law(s) can be found at https://www.sdwk.wa.gov.au/council/local-laws-policies/local-laws.aspx

Alternatively, printed copies may be inspected or obtained at the Administration Centre located at 30 Loch Street Derby, or by arrangement at the Fitzroy Crossing Visitor Centre Cnr of Forest Road and Flynn Drive, Fitzroy Crossing.

Public submissions may be made to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Derby / West Kimberley, by 4pm Monday, 16 March, 2026 and can be emailed to sdwk@sdwk.wa.gov.au
